Membership Information
Members of the Algonquin Quilters' Guild have the opportunity to learn new skills and participate in a wide variety of individual and group projects. Guild activities include:
- Monthly meetings featuring quilt-reslated programs or presentations
- Block of the month
- Show and tell
- Secret sister gift exchange
- Fat quarter raffles
- Saturday quilt retreats
- Charity quilts for community organizations
- Monthly "bees"
- Annual weekend quilt retreat
- Monthly newsletters
- Christmas party and gift exchange
The guild has approximately 35 members living in Algonquin and its surrounding communities. Prospective new members are invited to attend one free meeting.
Membership dues are currently $20 annually. The dues are pro-rated to $10 July through December.
